AVC and HEVC Selective Video Encryption: Decryption Challenge


Challenge Description

Several ciphering methods have already been proposed for HEVC contents. For this challenge we provide three HEVC and three AVC bitstreams which have been ciphered using
different selective encryption methods to test this method for robustness.

We provide information on how to generate and decode hevc bitstreams ciphered with the selective encryption methods. It also provides six ciphered AVC and HEVC bitstreams which can be used as reference for security evaluation of the selective encryption solution.

Kvazaar HEVC encoder and openHEVC HEVC decoder can be used as reference software to encrypt and decrypt these sequences.

4EVER-2 partners continue their studies on UHD-TV phase 2 and will present their latest research results at IBC 2016.
The aim is to improve audiovisual quality, as well as prove that these technologies are realistic.
